Azeri Army Nagorno-Karabakh 1993, elite Geranboy Battalion 2

The first part of vide is here: v=JTWPQlfnWTs Nagorno-Karabakgh (Artsakh) March 1993. Elite Geranboy Battalion lead by commander Sadykhov try to attack Armenian positions. Film was made by known reporter Alexander Nevzorov and shown in program “600 seconds”. The idea of Nevzorov was to show the war and real face of warriors. In that time he decided to make film about azeri warriors. The Geranboy Battalion was considered as elite, one of the best. Unfortunately the film is in Russian, but even for those who do not understand Russian could be interesting to watch. Have fun and greeting to my azeri friends :)

Ազատ ու անկախ Արցախը 1992-ից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության հիմնն (ազգային օրհներգն) է։ Խոսքերի հեղինակն է Վարդան Հակոբյանը, կոմպոզիտոր՝ Արմեն Նասիբյան։ “Azat u ankakh Artsakh” (“Free and independent Artsakh”) is the national anthem of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. Adopted in 1992, the anthem was written by Vardan Hakobyan and composed by Armen Nasibyan. The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) (Armenian: Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետություն Lernayin Gharabaghi Hanrapetut’yun), or Artsakh Republic (Armenian: Արցախի Հանրապետություն Arts’akhi Hanrapetut’yun)[2] is a de facto independent republic located in the Nagorno-Karabakh region (or Artsakh region) of the South Caucasus. It controls most of the territory of the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast .

Archbishop Barkev Martirosyan on the People of Artsakh and Armenia Fund’s Impact on their Daily Lives HOLLYWOOD–In an exclusive Horizon TV interview, Archbishop Barkev Martirosyan, the Prelate of the Diocese of Artsakh, speaks to Manouk Seraydarian about faith, hope and survival in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and the transformative impact of Armenia Fund’s programs in Artsakh. The Archbishop visited Horizon late last week while in Glendale, California for the 13th annual Armenia Fund Telethon scheduled to air live on Thanksgiving Thursday. More information here. The archbishop has traveled to California year after year to participate in the event, appearing on TV to appeal to Armenians around the world to support the development of the Republics of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.This Thanksgiving he will once again take to the airwaves during the telethon, this time to raise awareness of the fact that more than 70000 people in Artsakh are deprived of clean water. ARTSAKH – Արցախ (Nagorno-Karabakh) anthem

Artsakh was the tenth province of the Kingdom of Armenia from 189 BC until 387 AD and afterwards a region of Caucasian Albania. In 821, it formed the Armenian principality of Khachen and in around 1000 was proclaimed the Kingdom of Artsakh, which was one of the last medieval eastern Armenian kingdoms and principalities to maintain its autonomy following the Turkic invasions of the 11-14th centuries.
