Parelli,Winner of ENTSA 2007,Sings Ani Christy’s Taq Andzrev
Parelli asked Ani Christy’s permission to sing her popular song “Taq Andzrev” (Hot Rain) at 2007 ENTSA Armenian Singing Parathon. (Watch the original Ani Christy’s Tak Andzrev video clip on YouTube) The Entsa International Armenian Singing Parathon was held in Stepanakert, the capital city of Artsakh(Gharabagh) from 25th to 29th of June 2007. The grand prize of this singing competition was received by Parelli Amir-Khanian from Esfahan of Iran, presently a second year student at Yerevan Komitas Conservatory, in addition to the most prestigious and the highest honorary achievement award given to her by Varduhi Vardanyan Foundation presented by the popular singer, Andre. Being from a musical family, Parelli started singing at the age of 4. At the age of 12, she entered the local arts competition in the city of Esfahan as a last minute contestant, where she won first place in her category. Two years later, at the age of 14, she traveled to Armenia and entered DO RE MI Parathon contest, where she grabbed the second place of the event. Parelli also performed in several Armenian events held in Esfahan and Tehran. In 2006, upon graduation from high school, Parelli leaves to Armenia and enrolls at Yerevan Komitas Conservatory, only after passing an extensive entry exam given by well known Yerzingyan. Under the instructions of Christina Valerovna, Parelli receives her vocal lessons, while participated in 2007 Komitas Parathon sponsored by Maestro Orbelyan and Flora Martirosyan. In …

Jirayr Sefilyan – Armenian fedayi from Lebanon Part 1
Jirayr Sefilyan, lebanese born fedayi, joined Artsakh liberation struggle in 1991. He was a commander of 1600 volunteer Shushi special bregade and participated in military operations at Shahumyan, Gadrut, Spenakert, Shushi etc. He was awarded with the First Degree Order of “Martakan Khach” (Fighting Cross), military medals, and other government awards. He is an Army lieutenant-colonel of the Republic of Armenia.
