Azeri Army Nagorno-Karabakh 1993, elite Geranboy Battalion 2
The first part of vide is here: v=JTWPQlfnWTs Nagorno-Karabakgh (Artsakh) March 1993. Elite Geranboy Battalion lead by commander Sadykhov try to attack Armenian positions. Film was made by known reporter Alexander Nevzorov and shown in program “600 seconds”. The idea of Nevzorov was to show the war and real face of warriors. In that time he decided to make film about azeri warriors. The Geranboy Battalion was considered as elite, one of the best. Unfortunately the film is in Russian, but even for those who do not understand Russian could be interesting to watch. Have fun and greeting to my azeri friends

Yerevan Magazine Hosts Armenia Fund Benefit Event Ahead of 2010 Telethon
More than 300 people attended a benefit event for Armenia Fund hosted by Yerevan Magazine Tuesday evening at the newly opened Noor Restaurant and Ballroom in Pasadena, California. The event, held a week before the 13th annual Armenia Fund telethon, sought to bolster the Fund’s water projects in Artsakh. This year’s telethon, themed “Water is Life,” will raise the capital needed to build the facilities and infrastructure needed to deliver clean water to more than 200 villages in desperate need of the vital resource. The shortage of water is a serious problem in Artsakh, affecting more than 70000 people living in 200 villages. On average, each family spends 40% of their daily lives carrying water from a source 2-5 miles away. That water is not always clean and 88% of all diseases are related to tainted drinking water. Meanwhile, there are more than 100000 acres of agricultural lands in Artsakh are dry due to the lack of irrigation water and people in the villages are unable to grow crops and have incomes. In Southern California, the Telethon can be seen on KSCI Channel 18, KVMD, ARTN/Shant and USArmenia networks for full 12 hours. In the Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena/La Canada areas in addition to ARTN/Shant (388) and USArmenia (386), the Telethon broadcast will be also shown on AABC (384), HighVision (381) and Horizon (385) Armenian TV channels. The live 12 hour webcast can be viewed at armeniafund.org. Armenia Fund will also be hosting a benefit concert on Sunday, November 21 …
